Fishing

You can charter our boat the M.V. Sturdy for a fishing party lasting  half a day or a full day. The half day fishing trip is our most popular trip. The advantage of the full day charter is that we can go out further into the bay, thus increasing the variety of species that can be fished.

We have fishing gear on board, but you are welcome to bring your own. Bait can be arranged too.

Each week we organise a half day fishing trips for  small groups. This depends on demand and tidal conditions. Please enquire for details shortly before you want to go.

We will even retrieve a lobsterpot to show you what species typically get in such a baited pot and to us the contents as bait too..

  Charters can be tailored to your interests and preferences.

• Fishing and sightseeing combinations
• Head over to Kilmakilloge harbor for a pint at O'Sullivan's Pub,
• Stop off at Parknasilla near Sneem for tea.
• Meander between the islands on the bay for the day.

  We can pick you up and drop you off at many points on the bay, Kenmare Pier, Kilmakilloge Pier, Blackwater Pier, Oysterbed Pier (Sneem).

  We can carry groups of up to 10 people and there are full toilet facilities on board.

  It's YOUR charter. We're completely flexible.
   

Prices for charter for groups up to ten people:
Half Day - €200
Full Day - €300

If you want a serious fishing experience charter for a whole day as we can travel further for more variety in fishing.

You can also make a booking through payment of 50% reservation fee to our account with Paypal. Paying through Paypal is the internationally recognised way of making secure payment over the internet. You can make such payment even if you are not a member of Paypal just by using your credit card during the highly secure transaction. You will need our email address to make your payment in paypal.
